Jed Kaplan began his career over 30 years ago working as an Institutional Bond trader for several world renowned brokerage firms including Lehman Brothers, JP Morgan and Prudential Securities. After his remarkable success on Wall Street, Mr. Kaplan moved to South Florida and founded the investment firm Shearson Financial Services in 1995. As the Chief Executive Officer of Shearson, Jed utilizes his skills and experience to lead his accomplished firm. As a natural leader possessing a passion for sports management Jed Kaplan has been involved in the basketball business for many years. First as a minority owner of the NBA “G-league” Erie Bayhawks he then went on to purchase the Iowa Energy which was recently sold to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Jed Kaplan is also a minority owner of both the Memphis Grizzlies and Swansea City of the English Premier League. Jed’s insight, vision and knowledge are all represented as he lends his assistance as an appointed member of the NBA “G-League” leadership committee. The distinguished talent and expertise Jed has evidenced throughout his accomplished career in both the financial and sports business serve as a foundation to grow and develop Simplicity into a premier Esports organization.
